It's not a personal attack when I call you communist fascist. It's a fact. If someone is a racist, I call him racist. If someone is a Nazi, I call him Nazi. And since you are a commie, I call you commie.

GW is NOT true. Your number is up. More and more people are waking up to this huge scam. The tide is turning. Climategate is just the tip of the iceberg. People checking those emails are gonna come to different conclusions, no matter how hard you try to spin the truth into lies.

Don't you think that huge sun next to us could drive our temperature a bit as it fluctuates with solar activity? Its not impossible. I find it more unlikely that carbon dioxide is responsible.
Carbon taxes for every person on earth is being bandied about as a possible 'solution'. Don't you think a lot stands to be gained from promoting man-made global warming, truth being irrelevant? Just like much has been gained in the 9/11 aftermath, with wars and the like to fight 'terrorism', with truth again being irrelevant.
Let me say this: how much money was there to be gained by NOT killing JFK, perpetuating 9/11, and promoting man-made climate change? Not as much, that's for sure. While it proves nothing, it helps understanding.
And the past decade has seen a cooling trend. Look it up. That's why they changed 'global warming' to 'climate change'. The sudden wonky weather can be blamed on carbon dioxide just like the previous warming.
And know your history, in the 70's there was trepidation that we were going into another ice-age. 20-40 years later and we're climate geniuses? The science can never be settled because we don't understand our environment. The fact that we're being propagandized into believing there is no doubt tells me there is a problem.

Sigh. The word Climate Change was made up by Exxon people working inside Bush's
cabinet to try and suggest GW was not man made. The guy responsible admits this.
If you look at the trillions of dollars that petroleum, coal, steel, auto and related
industries are worth in the US alone, how can anyone say that carbon mitigation is
a corporate plot. Exxon spent 17 billion dollars to 2005 publishing dis-information
that GW was untrue. They were not pushing GW was true. The dis-information is
still echo-ing around in places like here. Sad.
I wish that we could talk about important yet interesting events as gentlemen.
Let the evidence win the round and people be respected. Good speaking, writing and
debating are valuable skills. Why not practice those skills here ?

If you actually read up on it at all you'll find that climate scientists are happy to admit that solar activity has been one of the main drivers of climate change over time. another has been greenhouse gas levels. It's not a question of either or. The difference is that until the last hundred years or so, all fluctuations in greenhouse gas levels have been natural.

Re: Climategate
So no doubt exists in your mind? Carbon dioxide is making it hot and causing hurricanes?
I see two sides arguing about some scientific problem I don't pretend to understand. While more reputable people back the man-made theory, there is more money and the power of the mainstream to back them up, which makes me suspicious. I see documentaries explaining carbon dioxide produced by man is less than a tenth of all the carbon dioxide released from the earth (basically nothing compared to volcanoes and oceans). Yet this is washed away as lies by the other side. Are all these things lies? I don't know. I know Al Gore (the one leading the charge) went on a talk show and proclaimed the inside of the earth was millions of degrees. I know he stands to make billions if the carbon tax is implemented. I know the hockey stick graph is seriously flawed and inherently deceiving. And now these emails show us a small taste of how the mainstream is strangling the other sides voice. Scientists like money too: perhaps they're unsure if its man-made, but if they proclaim it as such they get extra funding, and after all, whats the harm? Its a just cause after all.
The fact that the mainstream has adopted this idea so completely makes me uneasy. This is the same media which tells us it was only Oswald. Which calls people lunatics for not swallowing the official 9/11 story. Whatever, I used to believe in global warming until I started to apply critical thinking: why is this being done, and who benefits?
And has there been a cooling trend the past decade or not? Both sides tend to disagree, but there has to be a fact somewhere.

For the sake of simplicity, I have taken the liberty of highlighting what I think are the key sentences in your post above. What fascinating opinions on the science of global warming you offer. I would say that they are just about on a par with your (and your guru David Icke's) many other insights, as displayed in this thread among others.whateverman42 wrote:"I don't know."

Basically, all the climate-change deniers in this thread are saying:
POLLUTE THE SKIES AND THE SEAS AND THE EARTH WITHOUT MERCY, OUR CORPORATE INDUSTRIAL OVERLORDS!!
DO what you will with our ecosystem! Screw those endangered species, let's ignore Biblical injunctions that Man is also caretaker of Earth. Because it i still snowing in winter, climate-change advocates are all liars and Al Gore is a fat hypocrite.
How well they're trained. Let's move the focus back to POLLUTION god damn it. Climate change is a symptom, POLLUTION is the cause. Arguing with fools who think they're climate scientists is fruitless.
DO YOU BELIEVE THAT INDUSTRY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PUMP TRILLIONS OF METRIC TONS OF TOXINS AND WASTE INTO OUR AIR AND SEAS EVERY DAY, DESPITE THE FACT THAT IT MURDERS SPECIES TO EXTINCTION AND POISONS THE WATER AND FOOD YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN CONSUME?
YES OR NO??????
THIS is the grand f*** question, and why climate-change people don't see they're focussed on abstraction , there will never be change as long as idiots say they can't actually see ice-caps melt wit their own eyes. In the US there was a famous commercial about POLLUTION- Google "Crying Indian" for video, and you can't imagine how immense this commercial went in changing attitudes. Huge. It was speaking to individuals, but we need a new "Crying indian" call to arms for today. Because in the past 30 years, Reaganism rules the roost for corporations, pollute at will. The rise of massive corporate right-wing propoganda machines like Rupert Murdoch's FOX News is there exactly to kill and crush and smear any opponent of corporate and political change, in any way, around the clock. Corporate malevolence that PR that idiots eat up, sadly.

It's not a question of their being NO doubt about climate change, but the doubt is small compared to the catastrophic potential risks. Have you looked at the glaciers and ice sheets recently, by the way?

Re: Climategate
Deschanel and Joemoz, you clearly have strong opinions, are you climate scientists? How are you so sure? I admit I don't understand, but I'm trying to look at the bigger picture and use some common sense. You're focused on details that can be refuted ad nauseum. Facts can be twisted like everthing else, so maybe a new perspective is necessary.Arguing with fools who think they're climate scientists is fruitless.
No I don't, and no it isn't. What we're doing to the earth is ugly and should be stopped immediately. I agree that things like the electric car have been suppressed, and now companies are promoting hybrids as environmentally friendly, so big oil can keep cashing it in. But what I'm arguing (I don't know about the others) is that the faceless hidden government is using a just cause to front their agenda. Its clever, for when I argue against them it appears I'm arguing against environmentalism. This isn't the case; why should I defend corporations and oil companies? Things aren't as black and white as the mainstream would like you to believe, which treats us like we're children. I mean, you're not allowed to show doubt about this topic anymore, its become like a religion. Its pathetic: 'The science is settled' has the same connotations as 'There is no god but god'. As in end of discussion, now worship, obey, and fill our coffers.DO YOU BELIEVE THAT INDUSTRY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PUMP TRILLIONS OF METRIC TONS OF TOXINS AND WASTE INTO OUR AIR AND SEAS EVERY DAY, DESPITE THE FACT THAT IT MURDERS SPECIES TO EXTINCTION AND POISONS THE WATER AND FOOD YOU AND YOUR CHILDREN CONSUME?
YES OR NO??????
THIS is the grand f****** question
And I'm reminded of a Carlin routine: most environmentalists like to pretend what we're doing to the planet is wrong, but they're really just concerned about their own welfare. The planet can handle us like a bad cold. I'm not worried about mother earth, and anyone who is is deceiving themselves. They want a cosy planet with the perfect temperature and no storms so they can live in comfort. They're inherently selfish.
Humans are natural, and everything we do, even splitting the atom, is natural. If we poison ourselves from our uninhibited industrial revolution we'll kill ourselves off naturally. No big deal. But a big part of this 'green revolution' is save our planet bs. Perfect PR propaganda for the mainstream to indoctrinate the mindless zombies staring at the television screen. Look at the cute polar bears we're killing. Shows some sheets of ice breaking off. Make a connection to carbon dioxide. Tell them we're causing it because of our cars. Imbibe a sense of guilt so that they'll accept a global tax and global government. And welcome to 1984. You're already living with it in Britain, do you think CCTV cameras are an accident? Do you think monitoring will stop there?
