Re: THE WAR YOU DON'T SEE
well.....I think you see the discrepancy .
you were just presented with a string of actions that run contrary to the conspiracy theory of US sending troops to war for monetary gain. so what one is left with, is the US is damned simply because a couple of its battles.... just so happened .....to be in areas that were rich in oil.
some poor areas with nothing.......some areas with something.
so,the liberals...of course... trump up the obvious ones.
but the facts really are, nobody knows anything about the theft of oil. that charge is only brought up by
anti-war college students. you couldnt tell me how war for oil works if you tried. our economy and gas prices certain couldnt be shown as proof. so, you got a slogan.

Once again your faith in the military-industrial complex is rather affecting. Do you really think they're doing it so that Joe Public gets cheaper fuel?glennjridge wrote:our economy and gas prices certain couldnt be shown as proof. so, you got a slogan.

Re: THE WAR YOU DON'T SEE
your doing alot of laughing, like... gosh you actually believe this?! but you arent saying anything thats anything in the order of tangible proof. amazingly not even conspiracy theorys. nothing. your just alot of laughing emoticons. you've been taken in by "war for oil" for so long ....you cant even give me an idea of how theft of oil works.
do we tap into the oil secretly,do we pour them into barrels without anyone seeing them and then load them onto boats and bring them back....is it a secret team, or the army....do we have a deal with the Iraqi and nobody notices these barrles being loaded onto god knows what...is there a secret pipeline that leads underwater somewhere? where does the oil go when it gets back here? how does it get bought for someone to get paid?
you have no idea.... but you've got a college anti-war slogan and some emoticons.

Re: THE WAR YOU DON'T SEE
It's not difficult, Glenn.
i. Military-industrial complex invades oil-rich country.
ii. Military-industrial complex takes control of oil reserves.
iii. Military-industrial complex makes lots of money from rise in oil prices.
(they don't actually have to carry the oil out themselves in barrels marked swag)

Re: THE WAR YOU DON'T SEE
now see, in a jury trial, the prosecution can easily mention step 1 and 3 in an opening statement.
these are theoretical steps. these are IF's. no proof is needed.
the problem is step 2.
just for your information.....thats the one your having some problems with.

Really? It's not too difficult to take control of a country's oil reserves once you've invaded it and hanged the President.

think of the Iraqi mindset.....the shia....think of the sunni...think of the extremists in and outside Iraq.....think of the invading christian country in the muslim land...the infidel...
if you think we took control of their most precious resource, your just on automatic pilot tossing out anti-war slogans. your indoctrinated.

Re: THE WAR YOU DON'T SEE
Have you ever seen The Fog of War, Glenn? If not, you should watch it because it shows one of your poster boys reflecting upon his hawkish past (possibly because he was about to enter hellfire
)

Re: THE WAR YOU DON'T SEE
see, thats the problem with liberals. you saw something,an account, and you think you just saw the definetive end all be all statement on war ....because you got personally moved.
well, I'm sure there on the otherside of the coin, there are those who were doves and got motivated to join the army and fight for the country after 9/11 after they got attacked by an intolerant midset.
