I'm just amazed that Ferguson is looking to buy somebody when he's got the *perfect* squad already.

It was great. I was watching the Blackpool game till Owen's goal then watched Wolves till Hunt scored then Birmingham till the end. They couldn't even attack when they needed to in the last ten minutes. They're deservedly down.

Did Darren Gibson get a medal today? Fantastic player. Especially if he's won a league title.

Hopefully.

Why did Wilkins leave? I just heard somebody say on the radio that it's not come out in the press. Was it a Graham Rix situation?

Yeah, don't give the lad time, get rid of him now, never has a decent game. That's exactly why United are so bad isn't it? Give me a break pal. And teams are always looking to get new players you know. Also you might or might not be aware that a few player's are retiring this season too which is also a reason to get in new faces obviously. Obviously United will be in for some of Spurs Europa cup qualifying players this year no doubt too. Better than United's bunch of losers of course.

Perfect? If that's your opinion then no problem, not mine though. They do have a pretty good squad though it's fair to say, Premiership Champions and Champions league finalist's at least is not bad is it? Maybe you disagree? Let's just hope though that they don't start buying midfielders to play in defense and vise versa though, could be trouble for next season if they do.

Don't agree, what's he ever won? Oh the croatia league! Amazing. Would he better United? Simply, No. He's a decent player but not one United need so if that's a typical United attitude then fine, perhaps they put their standards at a different level than other's?
Well, it's obviously so perfect that it couldn't accommodate Luka Modric.

Ha Ha, I've touched a soft spot, disagree with Patrick and you'll never hear the end of it! Surprisingly you've forgotten to keep going on about you're like for like comparison between a defender and midfielder!!!! So have a go at me in another way to try and save face, I understand!
But just to please you, I really really want Manchester United to buy Luka Modric, Undertaker and Patrick on the petshopboys forum think, sorry know that he is better than every United midfielder (even John O'Shea the defender!) and so United need him in order to win things which they are struggling to do at the moment. The magnificent league cup and FA cup could be won next season on top of the average Premiership title and Champions league final (at least). Seriously, some people don't like people disagreeing with them do they now? Pick a decent random player and if the Man Utd fan doesn't want to sign him then he is obviously an arrogant so and so!!!!

You have mocked the opinion that Luka Modric is quality. Also, what Patrick was referring too, has nothing to do with positions on the pitch. *You* made the basic mistake of saying someone could not be a quality player because he hasn't won anything. Thats why the superb player known as John O'Shea was brought into it. Sorry but you tried saving face after some terribly appalling statements. You remind me of a few people. Those that can't see anything good outside of Old Trafford. Oh yeah, the stereotypical Man Utd fan :P

For the record, John O'Shea has played in midfield. He's played in all positions and i'm sure he started his career at left mid. As a United fan, you should know that

I think Wilkins got sacked because Abramovic is a well known football coach that knows better than everyone else. Ray Wilkins isn't a massive name in football, so he was sacked for the sake of it. That probably cost Chelsea the title.

I've got £15 on Fat Sam getting the Wet Spam job : 20/1. Also put £2 on David O'Leary @ 500/1

Yep. In from 80/1 to 5/1. He was the manager when wynken, blynken and nod were at Brum before they went to the Spammers. Hughton is 2/1 favourite.
