So it didn't chart in the "Billboard Top 200 Albums" in the USA? That's pathetic.

Dancing Star was # 18 on the U.K Airplay Chart last week, down from #15 with 525 plays an increase of 22%: but still went down because audience reached decreased by 17%( Probably due to less plays on BBC Rad 2)

And here's the #13 in Ireland:

I wasn’t expecting it to be a massive seller in the US, but I can’t believe it hasn’t made the top 200.

Streaming number is unfair - where do we register every time we listen to a Cd/Vinyl/Cassette or a download on itunes?

There is an artist in Denmark with an album released in 2013 who has been 485 weeks on top 40 Danish album chart....No one is buying it, just streaming.

You can't, but you'd have to stream an album far more times than most of us will ever play our physical copies just to register the equivalent of one sale. The weighting of physical and digital sales against streaming - which for better or worse has become the standard way that people now consume music - is actually still pretty slanted in favour of legacy acts like PSB, who with the sale of a single physical copy can match 100 or so start-to-finish album streams from a different artist. I don't know about you but I haven't played my Nonetheless LP anything like 100 times yet. So as a measure of popularity, the calculus seems pretty fair to me - remember PSB have recorded their best album chart performances in recent history (including their highest position in 31 years and their first album to do two weeks inside the top 20 since Bilingual) *since* the inclusion of streaming was introduced.
I must disengage your recreational music.

This is surprisingly impressive. Perhaps their strongest UK airplay chart performance since Love Etc? Although I think Dreamland did reasonably well too.

It looks like Nonetheless didn't make the Billboard 200, making it the first PSB album to miss the chart. Nowadays, the US charts are dominated by streaming units, a market controlled by ten-year-olds. :wall: :wall: :wall:

In the UK, where Nonetheless charted #2, you need 1000 streams for one album sales equivalent unit.

In the US, where Nonetheless failed to chart. you need 1500 streams for one album sales equivalent unit.
