Re: Obscure - Your Set List.
I would certainly like it to be just them onstage with their machines. Maybe occasional guests (Marr on guitar) but just them onstage. I do not like the band concept at all.

Love comes quickly, but is a catastrophe and a bourgeois construct etc.

Re: Obscure - Your Set List.
All bangers, no slow songs:
We're the Pet Shop Boys
A cloud in a box
Decide
The resurrectionist
We're all criminals now
Up And Down
Will-o-the-wisp
Why am I dancing?
Fugitive
Party in the blitz (Superchumbo)
No Boundaries
On social media
I get excited
Get it online
Break 4 Love
The man who has everything
Encore
We all feel better in the dark
Music for boys

By no means my favourite PSB song, but these dates are a perfect opportunity for the live debut of 'Hit Music'. Would make a great opener!
Re: Obscure - Your Set List.
There's no saying they won't pop in something from an FL. Kazak would make a good opener

As it’s five nights I can’t see any special guests. The venue also suggests this is going to be smoke, rain macs and computers- absolutely perfect for me.
Re: Obscure - Your Set List.
Here's a Spotify list with 17+ hours of songs that could all potentially be considered "Obscure PSB". Kudos to the person who collected this together - it would have taken me ages.

Here is my (large) playlist (40 titles, I hope they'll pick few songs from it). I won't ask for a refund if they don't play everything

Yep. No guests. No ‘band’. No Chris vocal (sadly), but… total authentic PetShopBoys as they were meant to be. Bring it on!Whosematchesarethose wrote: Fri 21 Nov 2025, 4:04 pm As it’s five nights I can’t see any special guests. There at least needs to be a Chris list. Maybe if they do I Want a Dog.

Re: Obscure - Your Set List.
Surely we need a Chris segment:
One of the Crowd
Decide
Lies
Subculture (the Stop Modernists New Order Cover)
The Schlager Hit Parade (Deutsche Demo)
This used to be the Future (just to ease Neil back into the show)
Maybe Paninaro but they have done that live before so...

Re: Obscure - Your Set List.
A smoke machine would be absolutely perfect for the Obscure theme. Imagine Miserere as the opener while Neil and Chris slowly emerge spotlit from a dense cloud of fog. Then straight into Love is the Law.Whosematchesarethose wrote: Fri 21 Nov 2025, 4:04 pm As it’s five nights I can’t see any special guests.
