VOCAL: first video edit

#1 Post by VRIDD »

An old post states that there exists a first video version of VOCAL with an exclusive edit of the song:
pmcau wrote: Wed 28 Jun 2023, 11:22 pm Has anyone noticed that the VOCAL video has been changed? The video now uses the radio edit, whereas before the video used a unique mix which ended in a repeat of the "so strong, it's so strong" lyrics and a fade. The YouTube version has also been replaced.
Is this version avaible somewhere?

The video still doesn't quite use the radio edit, I mean, the versions are different from the very first second. I don't remember there being an alternate video mix.

I went and listened to the original, it's the same.
I watched one dated 12th of June, and one dated 14th of June.
I remember the TV debut was on the night of the 12th, I posted about it.
The official Youtube video is dated 18th of June, so if there was an early version the ones I watched just now would have been it.

I was assuming that PSB could have updated the video on YouTube, keeping the original release date.

And I was not able to find these ones! Where did you find them? :P

Also re Vocal...curious if anyone caught their IG post on Jan 10th from Kobe, Japan. On the 3rd slide there's a mix of Vocal playing that I didn't recognize & sounded amazing. Anyone know which mix it is?

Isn't the original video edit the same as the radio edit but it includes the intro?

As for alternate mixes, guess we might find out when Electric: Further Listening eventually comes out.
