A man from the future? They once said they were reworking it with the Manchester Camerata.

Kae Tempest ‘Self Titled’ RSD vinyl stripped back versions of the whole album - so I assume NT’s vocal will be on the different ‘Sunshine in Catford’telys wrote: Wed 04 Feb 2026, 5:51 pm 2026 seems like yet another year full of PSB and PSB related releases:

Re: 2026 releases so far
I wish they'd release a third B-sides compilation. I think it's about time. Most fans prefer physical formats, and I think it would be very well received.

It looks like Madonna’s The Confessions Tour Live is getting a RSD vinyl release too - Neil’s vocal is on Sorry.Kobalt Blew wrote:Kae Tempest ‘Self Titled’ RSD vinyl stripped back versions of the whole album - so I assume NT’s vocal will be on the different ‘Sunshine in Catford’telys wrote: Wed 04 Feb 2026, 5:51 pm 2026 seems like yet another year full of PSB and PSB related releases:

Yeah agree - I sort of feel like the Obscure concerts might be an avenue that could promote such a release, so sort of feel like an announcement on a 3rd B-sides collection could be coming.NOBODY75 wrote: Wed 04 Feb 2026, 9:20 pm I wish they'd release a third B-sides compilation. There's supposed to be a new track by Sophie Ellis-Bextor titled "Drumroll" which will feature Neil Tennant as a vocalist. It's supposed to appear on the expanded edition of her most recent album Perimenopop, which I suspect will come out soon.

Re: 2026 releases so far
A duet or just backing vocals?
She's a well-known fan of the guys. I own almost all their albums, so I've imagined and wished more than once that they'd call her for a collaboration. Whether it was singing with Neil in a duet like "What Have I Done" or "In Denial"... or them writing a song for her.

My gut feeling is that "Naked" will have its first run in Autumn 2026 somewhere in preparation for the eventual West End debut.

No idea, although the way she was talking about it, I would guess duet. But that's indeed just a guess.

CD1 would be patchy at times but CD2 is pretty solid and would make a decent follow up to Alternative.Dog wrote: Thu 05 Feb 2026, 10:09 amThis is mine. Re: 2026 releases so far
One would hope they also take the opportunity to release "Format" on vinyl in tandem with a third b-sides compilation, though "Format" was so dense with material it would likely need to be four LPs rather than the three it took to comprise "Alternative."Lleonard Pler wrote: Thu 05 Feb 2026, 10:18 amCD1 would be patchy at times but CD2 is pretty solid and would make a decent follow up to Alternative.Dog wrote: Thu 05 Feb 2026, 10:09 amThis is mine.
