Pet Shop Boys better stay inside and lock the doors. You too Snoop Dogg. And Pitbull.

Gotta love Flavor! ... Wonder If the boys have seen this?

High time we had a PSB / Public Enemy crossover ... I propose ''Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos' as a choice track for a PSB 'dark techno' remix :D

To me the song is about loving someone like Trump to the point they'd take a bullet for them.
It's probably written about Carol Babbitt who did just that during the Capitol Storm.
When I say love I don't mean in the romantic sense but more-so a heroic idealising way, the way someone looks up to a leader that they aspire to be like and would do anything for.
Someone's delusional...

No kidding - the lyric "I wonder if he's realized, That right behind him he's despised" says it all. His security is the one right behind him, and they hate him.

Followed by...

I'm strapped up, strapped in, wear the vest
All the kit of an agent's chest
Even though it's bullet-proof
One could get through and that's the truth

The security detail is suggesting that they would happily allow a bullet to get to Narcissus in spite of their armour.

It's not really open to interpretation!

OHHHH... You know, I never looked at it like that... I always interpreted it to mean it would go through the agent's vest and INTO the agent. But you're suggesting the teensiest possibility that a small hole could suddenly... accidentally... tragically... open up in the Black Wall... :eh:

These are trained professionals, I'm sure something like that would never EVER happen in the heat of the moment. Bigly never. :naughty:

Maybe the demo will tell more of, or clarify, the story...

Hmm, guy was very pro-Ukraine. Hope that doesn't become an even more toxic topic in the media.

Also clearly shouldn't have had a gun. Let alone an assault rifle, but who does.

Also a registered Republican and yet more proof that gun control remains a serious issue in the US.

The plot thickens! Fun headline from CNN today which, to be honest, applies to both suspect AND target:
From Ukraine to Hawaii, odd behavior of suspect in apparent Trump assassination attempt suggested ‘delusion of grandeur’

If there is an interview, I hope he speaks exclusively to CNN..

FAKE NEWS, Jason! Only Faux News kisses the ring in interviews on bended knees. And does anyone really believe that he'd be magnanimous and charming in victory?

BFN (hang on! That means something else) won't see the light of day as a single. Maybe a remix, and we'll have the demo soon too, but I think given the current state of affairs the PSB wouldn't want to be seen to be adding fuel to the fire.
