In the last days I recognise some emails about Tickets for PSB@ROH which I THINK could be a money trap. After we have to hold this email open for user requests and alerts via the contact link (at the...
I know yesterday (13th March) was the first time a new PSB track had been played in ages, but (as per the long standing forum rules) in future all public requests for copies of any new track, PSB or otherwise, will be deleted and/or threads containing requests closed. We will officially...

Thank you for the link leesmapman. I was already aware of them and found the last one does not include the first song they played (the Blur song Girls and Boys (PSB Remix)). For some reason it has been omitted from the youtube recording hence why I asked if anyone has their own recording.
''I hope you don't mind if I go on at some length about this one. This gentle midtempo song evolved from a number that the Boys had previously been working on called "How Lucky I Am." It's written from the viewpoint of an imaginary 18-year-old boy who goes to a rock concert, meets the male star...

Legendary PWL producer/remixer Phil Harding chats about his work with PSB during the Tom Watkins era in the latest 80sography episode (first 20 mins), including the song he didn’t get a credit for, why Pete Waterman turned down West End girls (thank god he did), and how Neil caved in to house....

Second single off the Hidden Cameras upcoming album is out today, Undertow (no, not that one!) - another fantastic song. Vince Clark remix to be released in July! I like it, too! Liking "How do you love" as well, I'm getting more and more interested in the album ("Bronto"), coming Sept 12,...

Pet Shop Boys are happy to announce a special PSB-themed tea set, which will be released on 20th November and is available to pre-order now.
The products are the first to be launched as part of a new "Pet Shop Boys since 1984" range to commemorate 40 years since the release of the duo’s debut...
I was listening to some of the KLF’s tracks (they are back on YouTube with a brand new page) and I noticed some of the voices of “Last train to Trancentral” sound like the dialogue on “We came from outer space”... so I was thinking about “Relentless” being the PSB doing the KLF. What do you think...

Twas in the recent Annually, p48 in the 6 Music diary. They play the Morales remix of So Hard and digress on to The KLF.
Brilliant, thank you… I’d flicked through but forgotten that feature. Appreciated.
So Scissor Sisters had guest Jessie Ware in Glasgow and Olly Alexander in Cardiff.... the press for London 02 (this Friday) says another special guest..... anyone got any intel on if it could be Neil??

We got a video of Sir Ian, but you got the real thing, amazing! Sorry it wasn't Arr Neil but I'm sure that made up for it.
I thought PSB had said that Chris came up with the idea of covering Dark end of the street, only to notice that Neil’s friend Joel Gibb did the same song in 2016….coincidence?

There's no doubt in my mind that they should have released this instead of the risible Dudes - does anyone love that song?
Dark end is maybe their third best cover version in the mould of Always on my mind rather than Somewhere . It's a another missed opportunity letting it languish on the...
So, excluding the remakes of old tracks and demos we have the following original or cover versions:

So we're a little over a month away from the relaunch of the Dreamworld concerts.
The BlueRay was pushed back, and what releases we've seen this year could largely have been completed or produced before we even got to 2025. What little we have seen has been around Naked, and the unexpected "Hymn"...

As been mentioned there’s been plenty already and when I contacted Mark Farrow a few months ago he said there would be more since 1984 items available sometime this year so guess we need to wait until it’s announced. My guess there may be some available at the upcoming concerts this summer.
There is another thread about Loneliness but it's more oriented about the song but I think is better to have another thread about the b-sides. Well, they are two proper songs.
I think Party in the Blitz is a good song, not with the typical sound from PSB but If like it. :D
Through You is better...

I think we have to download the performance of PSB with the Olympics ("Winner", "Westend Girls" and "Go West") and upload it on Youtube as soon as we can.

Neil sounds great in this!
Nice crowd loving it.
Very unique setting for them, in amongst it. No idea why people poo-pooed them getting involved.

Crazy but absolutely brilliant that we’ve all been here for so long.
Just watched episode two of season four of “The Righteous Gemstones”, which is a Max/HBO comedy series about a family of corrupt televangelists.

Chris once said that after listening to Passion by The Flirts, everything he had heard up to that point was made redundant.
Cast your mind back to when you had that feeling to a Pet Shop Boys song.
Mine has to be Paninaro (Italian Remix) from Disco. Everything about that mix made me feel this is...

What always impressed me about Paninaro is that it's the bloody other one 'singing' it! How good must you be if a stone-cold classic has the keyboard player on lead vocals?
Even The Beatles only gave Ringo the cheesier songs; it wasn't like he sang Strawberry Fields.
I found some old VHS video cassettes in my loft at the weekend. Every time something PSB related was on the TV, I would stick my cassette in and wait, my fingers hovering over the record button. You may well have done the same. The result is four x three-hour cassettes, some more full than others,...

New London boy was considered as the first single from Nonetheless.
I was actually surprised to learn that it was not , in fact, a single until like the very end! That one BBC article (released right when they were promoting Nonetheless) gave me a false impression
The general feeling I'm reading of exhaustion over the Dreamworld dates this year and the delayed release of the DVD got me thinking about how things might have played out had COVID never happened.
The Boys must have had some sort of "plan" for the years ahead, even if songs weren't written or...

Greetings,
As it relates to Dreamworld specifically, I have always envisaged this "greatest hits" tour as their touring swan-song. I think all the pandemic did was delay its commencement, and potentially push out its finale.

Some PSB items I am just destined not to own, and this is one of them. When it first came out I was on holiday and temporarily incommunicado. Yesterday when these few were available, I was in the dentist having a tooth extraction. C'est la vie!
