I know yesterday (13th March) was the first time a new PSB track had been played in ages, but (as per the long standing forum rules) in future all public requests for copies of any new track, PSB or otherwise, will be deleted and/or threads containing requests closed. We will officially...

Thank you for the link leesmapman. I was already aware of them and found the last one does not include the first song they played (the Blur song Girls and Boys (PSB Remix)). For some reason it has been omitted from the youtube recording hence why I asked if anyone has their own recording.
I have two Panasonic recorders, with HDD and DVD-R capabilities. I usually record tv programmes on the HDD then edit and transfer them to DVD-R (Verbatim).
One of the older machines is about to die and I must get a new one. I want to remain with Panasonic, and I guess I would go for the DRM...

I've been wanting to get a good Mae West "life in pictures" kind of book, or just a picture book of hers, not a biography with some pictures.
Do any exist? The best I've come across so far was the tiny one in the Taschen Icons series.
Does anyone have suggestions?
Thanks
Hope it's okay to post about another forum cause it hasn't anything to do directly with PSB. (If not, I'm sorry and please just delete it).
Anyway, I just (we're talking hours) started a forum for people that work or play around with remixes and since I know there are a bunch here at I thought I...
:D :D :D Available online from today is a Live DJ Mix Special which celebrates the recorded work of synthpop legend Vince Clarke. If someone is curious in my own music you can download my album (and latest single) for free (don't spread the link it's for the forum only). I have all copyright since it's released on my own label too so I guess the link is okay? I've written, played, produced & mixed it myself in my studio......

Frequent PSB collaborator has designed a limited edition wine bottle - 999 bottles will be released to be exact.
Very much in the PSB aesthetic, imho.
I hope that N&C each have one. And heaven knows I'd love to have one. If anyone here can better supplement my link ~ please do.

"Frequent PSB collaborator"? Other than Nightlife what work has she done with PSB? There's a lovely coffee table book that contains all of her work in a single book, the Design Museum in London stock it if anyone's interested.
PSB may have forgotten about you love, but we haven't! What a wonderful career she has had. I didn't know it was her on the Jimmy Nail record.

Without wanting to under-estimate their value, Sylvia was a session and performance singer who happened to be well known. Her job is to sing for anyone who wants to pay for her to sing, we all like to get along with the people we work with but ultimately we're there to get paid.

To summerize, this 19-year old gentleman went on ebay to buy an Xbox One for his 4-year old son. However the listing on ebay was for a photograph of an Xbox One. Said so on the listing and the man knew it, but because it was on the consoles catagory, he bought it...

You have to raise a case to ask a question about where your delivery is if you are a buyer. Havent sold anything on ebay for a very long time so dont know about selling.

This is a project I got involved in when I was working on collaborations for my album. I met up with a girl who had written some lyrics about Alan Turing, as I knew about the PSB project I...
:D I'm sure some of you will remember the 1980s electronic band Blancmange, certainly older members will. A new edition of Ten Of The Best on my White Lion Radio Cloudcast page has been released featuring 10 of the duo's best tracks, including, Living On The Ceiling, Don't Tell Me, Blind Vision,...

The show features a mix of unsigned, new and emerging bands as well as established bands. Some superb stuff on this months show including 3 tracks from UK electronic duo...
Lately I've been drawn to the Elvis reissues that RCA are doing, they are really lavish and so much care goes into them. In particular, last year's "Prince From Another Planet" (Madison Square Garden). After reading a rave review on Super Deluxe Edition and finding it for so cheap on amazon, I...

I love this mainly because it is sung by Theo from Hurts, but it is interesting to see just how big Hurts are becoming. I started listening when some friend recommended them. Calvin Harris/Alesso could have used some different sounds in their production, very generic, but it still sounds good....

If Hurts aren't dreadful enough, Calvin has to rope them in.
Hey, I found out about this mag when the first issue was out with PSB on the cover, but never got around to getting it. Now that I've seen past issues had Blondie and Eurythmics on the cover I decided to get a subscription, because I've never seen it in Switzerland.
Any place where to get back...

I bought the issue with PSB on the front cover. It's a fine magazine for a bit of pop nostalgia, but I wouldn't want to subscribe. I mean, most of it is about stuff that happened 30 years ago. I'm ok with that, I like living in the past ;)
Well, by all means, you should subscribe then. The one...
I know some members on here enjoy the weekly radio shows I do for White Lion Radio so here are links to recent shows:

2012 has been a pretty grim year for new bands, but this Scottish electro trio has released two rather splendid singles so far. A bit like The Knife or Purity Ring, but with more hard-hitting vocals and better vocals.

'We Sink' HAS to be the next single. It's my favourite song on the album, and possibly of the year!
Andy Bell is headlining the Regeneration tour with a handful of USA dates. He is the replacement headliner as Human League has dropped out. Apparently there was some confusion about whether Andy Bell would withdraw from the tour, after Human League quit, but he has confirmed on his web site that he...

Terrible clothes for Andy, totally without style. At least these shows are not been karaoke performances like his classical solo gigs. Of course I'm more interested in Andy's new solo album (where he'll work with Audé) than the Xmas Erasure album.
I'm ust interested. I use Logic on a Mac, however FL Studio have launched a beta for Mac too, which I am able to use too as I purchased it on my PC a couple of years ago.
I have a retro Yamaha CS1x and a MicroKorg. I tend to use plugins rather than the actual synth sounds, but do sometimes.

I use Cubase and sometimes Reaper. Also use Sony Acid Pro from time to time. Very often when I do remixes. Really easy and fast to work with, but vst-support is a bit buggy.
I don't watch TV and DVD often and I rarely go to the cinema but just
watched an old film from 1961 called 'The Children's Hour' with Shirley
MacLaine and Audrey Hepburn, also starring James Garner. Here's in-

"Behind The Candlabra" was on HBO here, and pretty amazing. Liberace meets "Boogie Nights". Michael Douglas and Matt Damon were both superb. What a strange interesting life and career. Fine movie, never dull.
A cover by the band Strangers (who are really very good you know). The title is very reminiscent of 'You Only Tell Me You Love Me When You're Drunk'. That's about the only comparison really :)

It was an Arctic Monkeys song originally.
